I started discerning the call to the priesthood at 19, although I had first heard the call years prior and chose to ignore it. After becoming involved in the Newman Catholic Club at my local university, I developed a desire to engage in a deeper relationship with God. I was blessed to have a religious brother as my spiritual director. Every instance I felt the “call” was in direct relation to the Eucharist, whether I was in adoration or received communion, the desire to be fully His all came through and from Christ’s Presence in the Eucharist.

I was confirmed on the same day as Pope Leo XIV’s election.
