BRANDON MAXWELL EDMUND BAIN

I wanted to be a priest for as long as I can remember, since I was about 7 or 8.  I grew up attending Catholic schools and was very blessed to have been taught devotion to the Eucharist and the Blessed Mother at a young age.  In high school, I planned to enter the Jesuits, which I did in the fall of 2020, after graduating from Texas A&M. It was in the Jesuit novitiate that I discerned a call to diocesan ministry, to serve the People of God in a local context, and so I left the novitiate to apply to be a seminarian with the Diocese of Austin.  I have been incredibly blessed in my time at HTS, and I am so grateful for the graces and gifts I have received here. I am very happy to be back for my second year, pursuing formation for priesthood with my brother seminarians.
