My call to the priesthood started in my junior year of high school. I was invited to the St. Andrew Dinner at Saint Mary’s Seminary in Houston in which they talked about the vocation to priesthood. This was something very foreign to me as I had just gotten into my faith the year before. This was the spark of my discernment and growth in deeper knowledge of the priesthood. Since then, I started to receive signs through dreams, people, retreats and experiences that somehow connected to the priesthood. Then by the grace of God, I applied to seminary in my senior year.
