During high school, I began to realize that there was something taking place in the Mass that was more beautiful than I could ever fully appreciate. We witness the night of the Last Supper and the Passion every time we go to Mass. Even after this, the gift does not stop, for he gives himself entirely to us in the Eucharist. Jesus is life itself. Without Jesus, I am nothing. Everything I do is meaningless if I do not have His life in me. I realized in college that if there was even the slightest chance that the Lord may be calling me to the priesthood and the sacrifice, then who am I to deny him?
