My journey to the seminary has been all but a consistent one! Despite all the change that has happened in my short 24 years, the most significant changes happened during my time at the University of Missouri. At Mizzou I made friendships that led me to a more authentic friendship with Jesus Christ. It is through these relationships that I not only met Christ in the Eucharist, but I received the courage to answer the call to seminary. While not perfect, I continually find in Christ the strength to embrace new challenges and an ever-growing desire to love and to be loved. It is by the example of our Blessed Mother that I choose this “yes” to God’s will.

“Knowing belongs to man’s intellect or reason; loving belongs to his will. The object of intellect is truth; the object of the will is goodness or love.” – Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen
I have been present for one of the top 10 largest human gatherings in world history. (Chicago Cubs World Series victory parade, November 2016, an estimated 5 million people + me. Placed just outside the top 5.)
