I began discerning the priesthood in high school, where I attended discernment dinners and retreats from my diocese. I continued discerning after graduation until I asked for the application in 2020. I was in formation for a year before withdrawing in 2021. I worked with the non-profit Mobile Loaves and Fishes during the past year, where I developed a lot of leadership skills and learned a lot about pastoral charity and loving others no matter where they were in the spiritual walk of life. I accepted the call to return to seminary during a powerful prayer experience at Steubenville Lonestar in 2022.

I come from a homeschooled family of thirteen total (four boys, seven girls, mom, and dad).
