I grew up playing in the woods, doing activities like Boy Scouts, shooting potato cannons, and building makeshift contraptions out of whatever I could find. During one of these outdoor adventures, I encountered God in a wonderful and beautiful way. Afterward, I developed a deep appreciation for the saints—especially Mother Teresa—and was inspired by the joy they found in living out the faith in a radical way. I wanted to follow in their footsteps and become a saint! I went to university for four years, and during that time, I heard the call to the priesthood.
