For most of my life, I did not consider discerning the priesthood a possibility for me, nor did I want to. I went to college to achieve a commission in the Armed Services to become an intelligence officer. The Lord broke through my wall of “no” during a daily Mass when the priest elevated the consecrated host, and I realized that I needed to follow this call. After finishing my degree and doing a year of mission, I applied to Holy Trinity, and I’ve never looked back.
