Marco De Leon
My vocation story started fairly recently. Growing up, I would participate in the Catholic faith, but only because my parents wanted me to do so. For most of my life, I lived in the world without any real faith or knowledge of Jesus. When I turned 17, I suddenly gained a deep attraction to Christianity. I began reading, studying, and praying. Little by little, I began to fall in love with God. It wasn’t until my first year of college that I started to discern the priesthood, but I constantly avoided it because I stubbornly did not want to be a priest. One day, God answered my prayers, and I finally couldn’t say “no” anymore. I trusted God’s will and chose the seminary and have been extremely happy since.
