Hometown: Dickson, Tennessee
Home Parish: St. Christopher
My vocation has its roots in one of my earliest memories. When I was five years old, I confidently told the pastor of my parish that I was going to be a priest. Little did I know, Jesus was planting a seed in my heart. I remember playing Mass in fifth grade; I was always the priest and my brothers were the altar boys. Through the first half of high school, I ignored the deep tugging in my soul and convinced myself that I was called to marriage. That all changed when I started spiritual direction and frequent reception of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The biggest influencers in my vocation were my dad, Fr. Steiner, and my spiritual director, Fr. Gervan.
