My faith life experienced a shift and began to flourish at the University of Dallas, where I completed two years. This came through the witness of faithful peers, forming genuine friendships, and continuing involvement with Opus Dei. In Mass, the reality and meaning – intensely personal – of the Eucharistic sacrifice of Jesus came upon me as never before. Serving youth in Chicago the following summer, I was filled with the desire to connect the Eucharistic Lord with his sons and daughters. I continue to be affected by encountering others, seeing the beautiful call of divine filiation in each.
