From a young age I have seen the Mass as something extraordinary, and I became very drawn to the Eucharist after receiving my First Holy Communion.  When I started serving in late elementary school, I gained a great respect for the priests at my parish, which then sparked a curiosity of the priesthood.  After attending many retreats during high school, I heard the Lord’s call to go to seminary, but He led me towards college first.  During those two years, the Heavenly Father revealed His call in deeper and more validating ways to where I knew it was time to enter seminary.

“For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Fun Fact

I have been an avid Dallas Cowboys fan since middle school, although I was born and raised in Missouri.  Thus, I think it’s no coincidence that the Lord brought me to the Dallas area for collegiate seminary.
