SHANE JOSEPH KLIETHERMES
From a young age, I have seen the Mass as something extraordinary, especially after receiving my first communion. When I started serving in late elementary school, I gained a great respect for the priests at my parish, which lead to my curiosity for the priesthood. After attending many retreats during high school, I heard the Lord’s call to go to seminary. However, He needed me to attend Benedictine College beforehand. During those two years, the Heavenly Father revealed His call in deeper and more validating ways to where I knew it was time to go. Now, I am happily entering my second year of seminary formation.

Fun Fact
I have been an avid Dallas Cowboys fan since middle school, although I was born and raised in Missouri. Thus, I think it’s no coincidence that the Lord brought me to the Dallas area for collegiate seminary.
