I grew up in a Catholic family, but I never truly cared about my faith for most of my life. I desired earthly things and valued them much more than my faith. I got into a relationship in college. For some reason, my mind was free from such desires during this time, and this was when I first felt the call for priesthood. I left it on the back burner. Things happened, and we broke up. I started to discern more seriously and finally decided to follow God’s call.
