WILLIAM LEWIS STIVERS

The Story of God’s call for me is rooted in a desire to be Christ to others. I graduated from Wyoming Catholic College in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts and I worked as an EMT before entering seminary in 2020. Whether I have been working on an ambulance or serving in a parish, God has given me the desire to be Christ’s ambassador. I have two younger brothers and one younger sister, in addition to my parents who have been a wonderful support in pursuing this vocation. My family has helped me see the Church as the family I want to be a minister for.

Favorite Quote or Bible Verse

And not only so; but we glory also in tribulations, knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience trial; and trial hope; and hope cofoundeth not: because the charity of God is poured forth in our hearts, by the Holy Ghost, who is given to us.” – Romans 5:3-5

Fun Fact

As an EMT up in Wyoming, I helped directly save a young girl’s life after a horrible ATV crash and ended up in the local news.
