My vocation begins in high school after attending a Catholic summer camp and learning the Liturgy of the Hours, which remained a part of my life for the next few years. I witnessed the lives of priests I knew in a more profound way during the week of camp, sparking an attraction to the priesthood in me. I did not know how to answer the call, however, and did not pursue any course of action until my first year of college, when I spoke with my vocations director and told him about my ongoing attraction and decided to enter seminary.
