The first glimpse I had at discerning my vocation was an inkling while I was on a retreat in middle school, but afterwards, I dismissed it as “retreat high.” As I grew more in my faith during college, however, I could no longer ignore what I was feeling and began to seriously discern entering seminary. I continued to discern after I graduated from Texas A&M and moved to Florida, until the spring of 2023, when, by God’s grace, I was able to apply.

I once helped with a two-day long Eucharistic procession down the Mississippi River, which used over a dozen boats and a fourteen-foot-tall monstrance.
