Ms. Olga Wong

My journey as a church musician has been centered around the organ. Growing up with a Catholic background, I developed a deep appreciation for sacred music and understanding the profound connection between the Catholic liturgy and its sacred music. The traditional Catholic hymns and chants that filled the parish pews ignited a spark within my heart, especially during Holy Week.

With hours of organ practice in different sanctuaries, my proficiency on the organ led me to actively contribute to our church. I found myself serving from small college chapels to a cathedrals, experiencing different cultures and languages; yet, despite different musical styles, they all serve the same purpose, to elevate prayers, fostering a connection between the divine and our hearts.

Through my dedication, I continue to hone my skills and bring melodies to life. The organ remains my chosen medium to convey the profound and unspoken aspects of our faith. It is my hope that, with each musical endeavor, I can continue to unite hearts and minds, bridging the gap between the earthly and the divine.
